Dialysis & recurring medical transportation.
A standing, dependable schedule for dialysis — and for the other rides that repeat every week: rehab, adult day programs, cancer treatment, ECT, wound care, and clinical research visits. Set it once, and the transport is the one thing you never have to worry about.
Built for the people who ride with us weekly.
Other recurring rides we run.
The same standing-schedule setup works for any ride that repeats — same days, same pickup window, and a will-call return our team coordinates with your facility.
Rehab & Therapy
Outpatient rehab and therapy on a standing schedule. We currently drive clients to Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and other rehab facilities three times a week.
Often 3×/WeekAdult Day Programs
Rides to and from adult day care and day programs — senior adult day services, and day programs for adults with disabilities — held on the client’s program days.
Every Program DayChemotherapy & Radiation
Radiation is often daily, Monday to Friday, for several weeks; chemotherapy follows its cycles. We hold your schedule for the length of the treatment course — when treatment ends, so does the schedule.
For the Treatment CourseECT Treatments
Electroconvulsive therapy is given under anesthesia, so clients can’t drive themselves home. We provide standing rides for ECT at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital — for the full course, there and back, door-through-door.
For the Treatment CourseWound Care & Hyperbaric
Rides to wound care clinics and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which is often daily, Monday to Friday, for several weeks.
Daily or WeeklyClinical Research Visits
Standing rides for clients enrolled in clinical research studies, set to the study’s visit calendar so no visit is missed.
On the Study ScheduleThe transport you never have to think about.

2-Min QuoteA whole month, already booked.
Here’s what standing schedules look like side by side — dialysis three times a week, rehab on its own days, a radiation course that ends when treatment does, and a monthly research visit. Each one is set once and held. Tap a schedule to spotlight it.
Example month: dialysis every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; rehab every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; a radiation course on weekdays from the 6th to the 24th, when treatment ends; an adult day program on Mondays and Thursdays; and one clinical research visit on the 17th.
Example only — we build every schedule around your treatment days. Change any week with a call to (847) 585-8888.
The trips this service is for.
Two ways to get back — you choose at booking.
Will-Call (Standard). Our team stays in contact with the dialysis center or rehab facility about when treatment should end, so your return is already lined up. It’s still will-call: when you’re done, you or the center call and a Transportation Specialist comes back — no second booking.
Wait & Return (Optional Paid Add-On). Your Specialist stays on site or nearby and brings you back right after. Request it at booking — it's subject to availability and dispatcher approval, and billed separately.
Wait time (after the appointment) may be up to 60–90 minutes during peak times. Rainbow Road Transport will do its best to pick up the client as early as possible.

What every recurring transport includes.
Every Specialist, One Standard
Drivers rotate with the dispatch schedule, so you may see different faces — every Transportation Specialist is background-checked, drug-tested, and PASS-certified.
Securement-Certified, Every Transport
Four-point securement and door-through-door help on every recurring transport.
Wait & Return Available
Prefer your Specialist to stay on site and bring you straight home? Wait & Return is an optional paid add-on — request it at booking; it’s subject to availability and billed separately.
Wheelchair or Ambulatory
Whatever the client needs — wheelchair or ambulatory — matched to the recurring booking, with the right vehicle and Transportation Specialists each time.

Questions we hear most
Still unsure? Call (847) 585-8888 and we’ll walk you through it.
Yes — that’s the point. We lock your days and pickup window, so you never rebook week to week.
We try to send a familiar face, but drivers rotate with the dispatch schedule, so it isn’t guaranteed. Every Transportation Specialist is background-checked, drug-tested, and PASS-certified, and every transport is door-through-door.
No. Dialysis is most of our recurring work, but the same standing schedule works for any ride that repeats — outpatient rehab (we currently drive clients to Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and other rehab facilities three times a week), adult day care and day programs, chemotherapy or radiation, ECT, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and clinical research visits.
Yes. Radiation is often daily for several weeks, and chemotherapy follows its cycles — we hold your schedule for the length of the treatment course, and it ends when your treatment does.
Our team stays in contact with your dialysis center or rehab facility about your end time, so the return is lined up. Round-trip returns are still will-call: you or the center call when the appointment is done and a Transportation Specialist comes back — no second booking.
Wait time (after the appointment) may be up to 60–90 minutes during peak times. Rainbow Road Transport will do its best to pick up the client as early as possible.
If you’d rather not wait at all, add Wait & Return — an optional paid add-on — and your Specialist stays on site and brings you back right after.
We don’t bill insurance directly. Recurring transport can be set up as self-pay, or on a monthly facility invoice for partner accounts.
We’re partnered with Longevity Health Plans and Provider Partners Health Plan (PPHP), Medicare Advantage plans that may cover rides for their members — call (847) 585-8888 and we’ll check your coverage.
